The team at Evans Hand Therapy is not your typical Hand Therapist. Each of our certified hand therapists have completed 4,000+ hours and a minimum of 5 years of specialized training so that they can address your shoulder, elbow wrist, and hand needs.
Kimberly graduated with honors from Loma Linda University in 2010 with a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy. She spent the beginning of her career providing inpatient occupational therapy but always had a desire to specialize in hand therapy. She spent many years working closely with upper extremity surgeons learning how to assess and rehabilitate upper extremity disorders. Kimberly went on to achieve the highest recognized qualification in hand therapy by becoming a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).
Ricardo graduated from Stanbridge University in 2021 with a Master Degree in Occupational Therapy where he ranked in the top 1% of his class. Ricardo was also the Vice President of Phi Theta Epsilon which is the Honor’s Society for Occupational Therapy students. Prior to graduate school, he completed his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Whittier College, where he received a scholarship for soccer and was Summa Cum Laude and in the Honors Society.
In 2023, Joshua proudly attained his Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from Loma Linda University, marking the culmination of his academic journey. His professional odyssey began in 2019 when he embarked on a transformative experience as a student intern, guided by the skilled mentorship of Kimberly, Joshua evolved from an intern into a dedicated therapy aide/front office receptionist, contributing significantly to the clinic’s daily operations. Under Kimberly’s tutelage, Joshua enriched his understanding of occupational therapy, laying the foundation for his subsequent pursuit of advanced studies with the dream of becoming a Certified Hand Therapist. Beyond his professional pursuits, Joshua finds joy in his leisure activities, including snowboarding, surfing, and exploring national parks during his free time.
